Held on the Loughborough Pheonix C.C. East Leake Course - 2 x 5.4 miles - 20th July 1996
The Tin Can trophy went to Roger Walker, a debut victory.
Renowned distance cyclist John Woodburn would have just got warmed up after 10.8Km
Results are first three and noteable (by bike type) others. Nothing else known at present.

Amazing detective work. Only the inaugural event of 1992 is missing without trace, as well as 1994 which is just a record of the first 3 at present..
It is possible that nothing was produced. When you put on an event for the first time you perhaps don't need to produce copious reports. You might not guess that it all would be still going 23 years on!
